Class A CDL – Denver to Grand Junction & back to Denver (Mountain Driving)
Up to $75,000 based on experience, Sign on Bonus
- Dedicated Route driving position from Denver to Grand Junction (265 mile radius & back)
- Live load, Live unload (multi Stop w/ liftgate) – Must touch Freight
- 8:00-9:00 PM Start
- 4 days per week (rotating Monthly)
- Out and back nightly
- Multi Stop, Driver unload Palletized freight
- Home Daily
- Mountain Driving
- $2,500 Sign on Bonus

Duties and responsibilities
- Drives company equipment to customer locations and unloads and reloads trailer for return to original starting point
- Have knowledge and comply with all applicable federal, state, local and company rules and regulations that are in accordance with the accepted principals of the safe operation of a motor vehicle
- Pre and post trip inspections to verify that all equipment is safe and legal
- Have knowledge and comply with the proper methods of loading and unloading for the various cargo to be transported
- Report to work at the specified time and maintain contact with logistics/dispatch offices as required
- Use electronic log and other software to record and submit accurate driver daily logs and all necessary delivery tickets, trip reports, fuel reports, damage reports, and other paperwork required by company
- Follow company guidelines with regards to acceptable conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees, and the motoring public
- Comply with all company safety & performance standards
- Safe, legal and efficient operation of the company equipment at all times
- Report all accidents to a manager immediately involving driver and/or company equipment, regardless of the damage
- Read and comprehend: Bill of Lading; schedule and dispatch documentation including required equipment, pickup and/or delivery locations and times; seal numbers; and any shipper and/or receiver requirements
- Security and protection of equipment and loads including any and all load security equipment and utilization of required security methods
- Other duties assigned as needed
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A driver’s license required
- 1+ year verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Must pass a background check, road test and drug test
- Comfortable maneuvering and parking 53’ tractor trailer
- Able to hook and unhook trailers, install chains and secure cargo as required
- Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
- Physically and mentally fit
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
- Comfortable moving freight using forklift, pallet jack, lift gate, etc as necessary
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
- High level of composure and good stress management
- Able to read and speak the English language, in accordance with 49CFR Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
